During the protest demonstration, blankets stained with red colors were laid on the ground to represent the lifeless bodies of innocent Palestinian civilians who lost their lives in Israeli attacks, which has drawn widespread condemnation from Islamic countries.
In front of the banner, the names of children killed by the Israeli regime's relentless attacks on Gaza were written, along with the words "Stop the genocide."
Hundreds of people gathered in the Bascarsija square to join the protest, chanting the "Free Palestine" slogan, Anadolu Agency reported.
The Israeli regime waged the brutal war on the blockaded Gaza Strip on October 7 after the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.
Since the start of the aggression, the Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 12,500 Palestinians, including more than 5,000 children and 3,300 women, and injured 30,000 others.
It has also imposed a “complete siege” on the coastal sliver, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
