FM departs for Doha with Palestine issue on agenda

TEHRAN, Oct. 31 (MNA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has just left Tehran for Doha in order to meet and talk with the high-ranking officials of Qatar.

This is the second visit made by Amir-Abdollahian in the last two weeks, which is due to the worsening humanitarian situation in Palestine.

Negotiation and the exchange of views about the Israeli regime's crimes and the developments in Palestine with Qatari authorities is on the agenda of the Iranian top diplomat in this trip.

The Israeli regime's military also launched a failed ground offensive against Gaza on Friday, after the regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "the second stage of the war" has started.

Israeli regime began its war of aggression against Gaza on October 7, after the Gaza Strip-based Palestinian Resistance movements launched a surprise operation on the regime, dubbed Operation al-Aqsa Storm.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israeli regime's war of aggression has so far killed more than 8,300 civilians, most of them women and children.
