Iran defeated by England, fail to advance final

Iran conceded defeat against England 64-44 and failed to advance to the final of the event.

Iran must now beat the Netherlands for third place.

The Iranian wheelchair basketball team came fourth in Hamburg 2018 Worlds.

The competition was originally scheduled for Nov. 16 to 27, 2022 but was postponed until June 9 to 20, 2023.
