Javelin thrower Beit Sayah wins silver for Iran

TEHRAN, Sep. 04 (MNA) – Iran’s Sadegh Beit Sayah seized a silver medal in javelin throw of the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

He finished runner-up with a throw of 43.35m.

China’s Sun claimed the gold medal with 47.13m and the bronze went to Iraq’s Nukhailawi with 41.39m.

This was the 10th silver medal of the Iranian delegation in the Games.

The delegation sits 13th on the table with 10 gold, 10 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
