US troops to withdraw from Camp Taji on Sunday: report

The US-led coalition has voiced readiness to withdraw from Camp Taji in northern Baghdad on Sunday, Al-Mayadeen reported.

Meanwhile, Al-Arabiya quoted an Iraqi government source as saying that US troops are scheduled to hand over Camp Taji to Iraqi forces on August 23.

US forces and its affiliated coalition will pull out of Camp Taji on Sunday, the source added.
