TEHRAN, Jan. 06 (MNA) – Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Valery Gerasimov, in a message on Monday, expressed his condolences over the assassination of Lt. Gen. Soleimani by the US, noting that the terrorist move is a clear violation of international regulations.
In his message to Chief of Staff of Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagher, he referred to Lt. Gen. Soleimani as a wise commander with high capabilities in the Middle East.
The Russian General also admired his efforts in combat with terrorism in the region.
