US relocates ISIL terrorists to Afghanistan

TEHRAN, Dec. 07 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said that the US government has relocated a number of ISIL terrorists to Afghanistan last year, the issue of which can bring about instability in Iraq and Syria as also in other regions in Asia.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Chinese Vice Chairman Chen Zhu of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Thu. Dec. 6.

In the meeting, Larijani pointed to the key role of China in the current complicated situation of the region and world, saying “fortunately, the relationship between Iran and China is at a high level, so that the political consultations between the two countries in different levels show the depth of bilateral ties.”

Then, Larijani placed special emphasis on maintaining Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) by other 5+1 countries after the US pullout from Iran’s nuclear deal and said, “under such circumstances, if other countries involved in Iran’s nuclear talk failed to take effective steps in this regard, JCPOA will fail.”
