Larijani says EU has not implemented practical measures to save JCPOA

TEHRAN, Dec. 03 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said that European countries insisted on Iran’s remaining in the JCPOA but they have not still adopted practical measures to save the deal.

Ali Larijani made the remarks in a press conference on Monday, organized on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Seyyed Hassan Modarres on Dec. 01 which is named ‘Majlis (Parliament) Day’ in Iran.

After US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, European countries called upon Iran not to leave the deal but they have not still implemented a practical measure in this regard, he regretted.

They have proposed some solutions and Iran is studying them, he noted, adding, “but, unfortunately, there are problems regarding their implementation.”

He went on to say that Iran is still negotiating with EU and if these the talks are proved ineffective, Iran will take other decisions.
