“The Europe should do more to preserve the JCPOA and push US to deliver on its commitments,” said Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday, in Tehran.
The Iranian diplomatic chief made the remarks while meeting with Annika Söder, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.
During this meeting the two diplomats exchanged views on the most important bilateral, regional, and international issues.
Also in this meeting, the JCPOA (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action AKA Iran nuclear deal signed by Iran and P5+1 on July 14, 2015 in Vienna) and the threats of American president against this international treaty was discussed by the two officials.
Reiterating the stances of the Islamic Republic of Iran in regards with what American president has said about the nuclear deal, Mr. Zarif highlighted, “The Europe should do more to preserve the JCPOA and push US to deliver on its commitments.”
The Swedish diplomat, also in this meeting, for her part, necessitated the efforts to preserve the JCPOA.
