3 Iranian films to vie at 2018 Jaipur Filmfest.

TEHRAN, Nov. 06 (MNA) – The 10th edition of India's Jaipur International Film Festival have accepted three Iranian films including ‘Kupal’, and ‘Sara & Aida’ into its screening program.

The Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF), now in its tenth year, has released its first list of nominations on Sunday. The second and final list of selected films will be released in the first week of December this year.

The list consists of 72 films, three of which are from Iran: ‘Kupal’ directed by Azem Mollaie, ‘Sara & Aida’ directed by Maziar Miri, and ‘The Man Who Wasn’t Here’ by Ata Mojabi.

The Iranian films will be competing with 19 titles from India, USA (11 films), Germany, Canada, France (3 from each country), Russia, China, Spain, Australia, UAE, England, Poland and Finland, etc.

The selectors have chosen these films from 1677 entries received so far. This list of selected films includes 16 Feature Fiction Films, 9 Documentary Feature Films, 4 Short Documentary Films, 6 Animation Short Films, 32 Short fiction films and 5 student short films.

The 10th Jaipur International Film Festival will be held in Jaipur, India, from 6 to 10 January, 2018.
