Larijani receives condolence messages from counterparts

TEHRAN, Jun. 08 (MNA) – Speakers of Parliaments from neighboring and Eurasian countries extended condolence messages to Ali Larijani on Tehran’s terror attacks.

Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin strongly condemned the twin terrorist attacks in Tehran condoling the Iranian nation and government.

He also expressed readiness to continue anti-terrorism cooperation powerfully in international arena.

Lebanon’s Nabih Beri, in separate messages to leader Ayatollah Khamenie, President Hassan Rouhani and Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani codoled Iran on the terrorist attack, underlining that such criminal acts against Islamic Republic as “the pioneer of fight against terrorism” is predictable.

Larijani also received a phone cal from Pakistan Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq during which Sadiq expressed Pakistan’s condolence and support for Iran in fighting terrorism.

“The incident would strengthen Iran in confronting terrorism,” Larijani said, appreciating his sympathy.

Ara Babloyan, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, also cabled a message to Ali Larijani on Wednesday, denouncing the deadly terrorist attacks in Tehran.

“Armenian Parliament extends deepest condolences and prays for victims and their families,” he said to his Iranian counterpart.
