US navy conduct ‘unprofessional, propagandist’

TEHRAN, Nov. 29 (MNA) – An IRGC Navy official has rejected claims by US navy that IRGC vessels had reportedly scrambled their fire on US helicopter.

The official who was speaking to a Force website on Tuesday said that the claims were baseless and it was the US navy itself that embarked on empty propagandist conduct to show others that the conditions in the Persian Gulf was far from normal; “we tell them that stop the propaganda; you are the real problem in Persian Gulf, and your unprofessional conduct,” he told the website.

“Their conduct had too far been unprofessional; ships from all countries pass the critical Strait of Hormuz complying fully to the regulations and international conventions of the good conduct; however, the US navy officials would create storm in a teacup to create the mentality that Iran contributes to the insecurity of the waters,” he emphasized.

The official however said that the IRGC Navy would attend to their duties regardless of the propaganda embarked, and keeping equanimity, to provide the waters with needed security. “We will anyway watch closely all movements by any vessel and ships crossing the Strait in line with the Navy’s inherent missions, and will leave US navy claims to public to judge upon the accuracy of such claims,” he concluded.
