MOSCOW, Oct. 31 (MNA) – The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation at the Hmeimim airbase registered a total of 55 violations of the ceasefire regime in Syria in the last 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry announced Sunday.

The Jabhat Fatah Al-Sham, formerly known as al-Nusra Front, and the ISIL terrorist groups, which have been outlawed in Russia, are not part of the ceasefire deal.

"A total of 55 ceasefire violations by militant groups have been registered in Damascus (19), Aleppo (30), Daraa (1), Hama (1) and Latakia (4) provinces," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.

The number of settlements that have joined the cessation of hostilities in war-torn Syria has increased to 868, the Russian Defense Ministry stated. "Within the last 24 hours, truce agreements have been reached with representatives of three settlements in Hama (3) province, bringing the total number of settlements that have joined the ceasefire to 868," the ministry said.

According to the document, negotiations on joining ceasefire regime have continued with field commanders of armed opposition units operating in Damascus, Homs, Hama, Quneitra and Aleppo provinces.
