Feature film ‘Immortality’ directed by Mehdi Fard Ghaderi, ‘Lantouri’ by Reza Dormishian, and ‘Drought and Lies’ by Pedram Alizadeh have been selected from Iran to compete in the Feature-length Films in World Panorama section of Hanoi International Film Festival.
‘Immortality’ is Fard Ghaderi's first feature movie that displays events occurring in a rainy night in the train. The film is the story of six different families on different wagons of a train, gradually unfolding to the audience.
‘Drought and Lies’ is an adaptation of a well-known Iranian play, while ‘Lantouri’ deals with a gang of extortionist/ thieves/blackmailers in Tehran.
The fourth edition of Hanoi International Film Festival will be held on 1-5 November, 2016, in the Vietnamese capital.
