Iran’s prudence ‘aborts plans to destabilize Persian Gulf’

TEHRAN, Oct. 08 (MNA) – Deputy-Commander of Army Navy has said Arab states have been naïve to fall to Zionist trap which seeks to destabilize Persian Gulf.

Rear Adm. Alireza Tangsiri who was speaking in a ceremony on Saturday to commemorate IRGC Navy achievements in the Persian Gulf, believed that the enemies would extend the instability to Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman should the Islamic Republic of Iran fail to act with prudence and equanimity; “rationality exercised by Iran protected Persian Gulf from the repercussions of what actually happens in the region; the enemies have been investing heavily on the simplicity, naivety, and fool-hardy of the Arab rulers of the region to plunge the southern waters into the center of crisis,” he emphasized.

“ISIL would now have been a major player in the waters if the Islamic Republic of Iran did not act out of prudence and equanimity;’ the majority of these naïve rulers had fallen to the trap prepared by the Zionist regime; we recommend these rulers to reconsider their policies in a reawaking which would save the region and bring salvation to their own states,” suggested the commander.
