Music Office the Ministry of Culture has a mission to train and foster instrument players especially in orchestral levels, policy-making and long-term planning for academic exchanges with world’s renowned centers, and to encourage private sector in participation in policies drafted, and helping restore cultural identity based on reaching a common language of music as international linqua franca of art.

Based on these missions, Music Office of the Ministry made proposals on performances where civilizations participate in an environment reminiscent of their past scintilla, with Italy as the major foreign participant.

Mr. Daminao Giurrana told the meeting that ‘Italian Voice for Iran,’ a music project carried out jointly with Iranians had received Presidential Medal of Italy, a prestigious award in music; “the project could have failed without generous support and cooperation of our Iranian partners,” he added.

“I see the future of music cooperation in positive light as Iranian officials display considerable efforts and welcome cultural activities; we will see successful events in the near future,” Giurrana emphasized.
