Iranian producer wins German festival's special prize

TEHRAN, Aug. 02 (MNA) – Iran’s short film 'Take a Seat Darling' won the special prize of Black International Cinema Berlin.

Khatereh Asadi, the producer of the short movie Take a Seat Darling could grab the best prize of the festival in Germany.

The movie narrates the story of a woman called Mahtab who holds a small birthday party for her son Bardia, in a café around the city downtown. But things get into a mess when Khosro, Bardia’s father, shows up.

The movie is Assadi’s first experience in film producing. The crew of the film include director and writer Ali Nazari, actors Saeed Changizian, Bijan Afshar and Hesam Rahimi Manesh, actress Bahareh Kian Afshar, editor Rouhollah Ansari, sound Reza Tehrani and music Hamed Sabet.
