'Open Window' to vie at Festival of Nations

TEHRAN, Apr. 02 (MNA) – Iranian short movie Open Window will attend the competition section of 44th Festival of Nations in Austria.

Experiencing its first international presence, Open Window, directed by Afshin Rezaei, will be screened at 44th Festival of Nations in Austria being held on May 13-19.

The event will host 107 movies from Germany, Spain, France, Iran, the UK, Russia, Italy, Turkey, America, Poland and Austria.

Produced by Rood Film, Open Window is based on a story of the same name by Hector Hugh Munro (Saki).

The movie is about an impatient man who lives in a crowded and polluted city. He has been exhausted of traffic and noise of urban life. His sister suggests him to live out of town where he faces strange events.

Festival of Nations is an international short-film festival taking place in Lenzing, Upper Austria, near the lake Attersee. It welcomes numerous film-makers from around the globe, who hand in films in the categories of fiction, animation and documentary from one to thirty minutes duration.
