Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is currently in New York to attend the first meeting of the Joint Commission with the members of the 5+1 and also the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), met with his counterparts from Romania, Egypt, and New Zealand on Friday.
In his meeting with Romanian Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, Zarif welcomed the willingness of his counterpart to visit Tehran and form a joint economic commission.
The two officials examined the ways to develop the economic ties between Iran and Romaniaa and agreed to slate the visit before the end of 2015.
Zarif and his New Zealander counterpart Murray McCully, in another meeting of the day discussed ways to broaden relations especially in realm of economy.
The New Zealander FM also voiced his willingness to visit Tehran and Zarif embraced the offer warmly.
Also the two parts agreed to hold the next visit in Tehran before the end of 2015.
The same discourse went on in Zarif’s third meeting of the day on the sidelines of 70th UNGA with Egyptian FM and the two officials stressed on cooperation dealing with regional issues.
