Claims over Zarif's son in Kerry wedding baseless

TEHRAN, Aug. 03 (MNA) – A Foreign Ministry official denied claims made over presence of Zarif’s son in wedding ceremony of John Kerry's son.

According to the Media Department of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, a senior member in the Foreign Ministry called a US website claim concerning presence of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's son in wedding ceremony of Secretary of State John Kerry's son as mere fabrication.

In their gossip culumns, a number of US media repeated the claim made by Allen B. West’s web site on 28 July 2015 that Zarif’s son was the best man at John Kerry’s daughter’s wedding in 2009.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry official dismissed the claims as “pure and baseless fabrication.”

"A number of unreliable media circles produce such kind of news by misusing news production procedures and seek certain incentives, including attracting more audience," added the official and further asked local media to pay attention to the validity of the sources they use for their job.
