Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, a graduate of Sharif University of Technology in chemical engineering and an official at the Natanz nuclear enrichment facility, was assassinated in Tehran on January 11 when a magnetic bomb attached to his car detonated.
“A number of people who had a hand in the assassination of Martyr Ahmadi-Roshan have been arrested,” Larijani said.
“Investigation is underway to identify the terrorists and details about the assassination,” he added.
Larijani also said, “Iran will not remain silent about the assassination of Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, its nuclear scientist, by the Zionist regime.”
“(But) Iran’s response to the assassination of its scientists will not be similar to the action by the Zionist regime which carries out assassination operations,” he noted.
