In a statement regarding today's enemy attack on part of the facilities of the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone (Mahshahr), the National Petrochemical Industries Company announced, "Safety, firefighting, rescue and operational teams immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and necessary measures to manage the emergency conditions have been initiated and the fire has been contained."
“The enemy bombarded as many as six petrochemical complexes in Iran on Saturday in continuation of its crimes,” the statement said.
The National Petrochemical Industries Company's announcement also said, “This morning (Saturday, April 04), the American Zionist enemy, in continuation of its crimes, attacked a part of the petrochemical subsidiary facilities in the Mahshahr region.”
“Safety, fire, rescue and operational teams immediately arrived at the scene of the incident and necessary measures were initiated to manage the emergency situation and the fire was contained,”
“The situation is currently under control and the technical aspects and extent of the damage are being investigated,” the statement also said.
No one was hurt in the aggression, the statement concluded.
