"The war criminals in Israel are now openly and unashamedly bombing pharmaceutical companies," Araghchi wrote on X.

On Tuesday morning, one of Iran’s largest producers of cancer medications, anesthesia drugs, and other essential medicines for special patients was targeted in a hostile attack. The incident caused damage to a section of the production line, representing an effort to disrupt the nation’s health infrastructure.
According to a statement from the SSIC, the facility belonged to the retired citizens, and the attack directly threatened public health and the safety of Iranian patients.
SSIC emphasized that production activities will continue through the dedicated efforts of Iran’s pharmaceutical workforce, ensuring continuity of vital medical supplies.
The organization called on international bodies to respond to such actions and uphold their responsibilities regarding health and security.
