Speaking at an open session of Parliament on Sunday, Ghalibaf underscored the need for vigilance at a highly critical time, calling for a precise understanding of enemy plots.
He said that Iran is currently engaged on four fronts against “the US and Zionist enemy”, which he listed as “economic war, cognitive war, military war, and terrorist war.”
“Today the Iranian nation is standing firmly against armed terrorists. The course of the nation’s success in these days will reach its peak,” he said.
He added that while authorities would “seriously examine the rightful protests of the people,” they would stand resolutely against terrorists seeking to exploit unrest.
