"We condemn in the strongest terms the assassination and targeted killing of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli forces, and we call on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists' Union, and all media trade unions in the world to condemn these organized crimes against journalists and media activists in Gaza,” the statement noted.
The government information office in Gaza held the occupying regime, the US government, and its allied countries, including Britain, Germany, and France, fully responsible for these crimes, emphasizing that these countries are complicit in committing massacres and heinous crimes against Palestinian people in the enclave.
Finally, the statement called on the international community, international organizations, and institutions related to the media and press freedom to not only condemn these crimes, but also take immediate and effective action to punish the perpetrators in international courts, stop the genocide in Gaza, support journalists, and prevent the continuation of their murder and assassination.
