Pezeshkian extends New Year greetings to Christian nations

TEHRAN, Dec. 31 (MNA) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has extended his congratulations to the leaders and people of Christian nations celebrating Christmas and the New Year.

In his message on Monday, Pezeshkian emphasized the values embodied in the teachings of Jesus Christ, whom he described as the “prophet of light and mercy".

He highlighted that the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth anniversary serves as a reminder of peace and ethics in human societies.

The Iranian president expressed his wish for the world to witness the eradication of oppression, violence, war, and genocide in the New Year.
