According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), the first shipment of aid to Gaza was sent to Egypt today (Friday) in order to reach the people of Gaza as soon as the Rafah crossing is opened for sending international aid.
The first Iranian aid shipment was loaded on a cargo plane at Tehran's Mehrabad airport.
According to the IRCS report, shortly after the start of brutal attacks by the usurping Zionist regime on civilians in Gaza, the Red Crescent Society announced its readiness to send shipments of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and in this regard, many coordinations and efforts were made with other parties the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Movement.
Pirhossein Koulivand, head of the IRCS emphasized that three mobile hospitals are ready and international consultations are ongoing to establish these hospitals on the Gaza border to help the wounded.
Many trucks are currently at the Rafah border in Egypt ready to be sent to Gaza as soon as the crossing opens. A shipment by ship is also being prepared to send aid by sea.
