Major General Yahya Rasool said that the first shipment containing 18 tons of humanitarian aid from the Iraqi nation was sent to the people of Gaza by two planes.
News sources in Gaza announced the arrival of the second convoy of humanitarian aid in the form of 17 trucks on Sunday.
The convoy, carrying food and medical supplies, entered Gaza by crossing the Rafah crossing in Egypt.
