TEHRAN, Oct. 10 (MNA) – Azeri President Ilham Aliyev says an agreement has been reached on the construction of a highway and a railway to Nakhchivan through Iran.

An agreement has been reached with the Islamic Republic of Iran to use this country’s territory for the construction of a highway and a railway to ensure access to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in his appeal to the participants of the 27th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states held in Shusha, Trend reported.
