Iran to host 18th Int’l confab of minimally invasive surgery

TEHRAN, Sep. 26 (MNA) – The 18th International Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery and Techniques (MISTIC) is scheduled to be held in Iran’s northwestern city of Tabriz in the coming month.

The MISTIC aims to study the latest achievements in the field, the secretary of the congress said.

As many as 100 scientific figures are to deliver speeches at the congress while some speakers from France, the US, Switzerland, Germany, and Turkey will give online speeches, Ziaaddin Rasi Hashemi added.

Iran enjoys an important place in terms of minimally invasive surgery and techniques in the Middle East, he further noted.

The 18th edition of the congress is to be held on October 03-05, 2023, in Tabriz, in northwest Iran.
