Iran, Iraq foreign ministers confer on bilateral ties, coop.

TEHRAN, May 26 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a phone conversation with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Amir-Abdollahian and Hussein, during the phone call, stressed the need for implementating the security agreement reached between Iran and Iraq.

The two foreign ministers also emphasized strengthening the gas pipelines.

Regional cooperation and cooperation in banking area was another topic discussed between the two top diplomats.
