Syrian Homs Refinery furnished by Iranian equipment

TEHRAN, Sept. 5 (MNA) – After 23 months of intensive work, the boilers and tanks of the Syrian Homs Refinery was made at the Azarab Industrial Company of Arak.

The first batch of equipment, including two tanks weighting 600 tons has been already dispatched, while another 1,700-ton boiler will be delivered in the near future.

 

The manager in charge of making these equipments, Gholam-Hossein Nemati-Rad told MNA on Tuesday that the two tanks have been by now installed in the Syrian refinery.

 

Pointing to the fact that these equipments generate the required electricity of the refinery, Nemati-Rad said that the capacity of the two tanks is about 239 cubic meters and the boiler capacity is some 190 tons of vapor per hour.

 

He also stated that the value of the Iran-Syria’s equipment contract has been about $16.25 million.

 

Azarab has previously made equipments for the Syrian Banias Refinery.
