Terrorist group dismantled in Lebanon

TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (MNA) – Lebanese minister Bassam Mawlawi on Wednesday announced that a terrorist group that was planned to carry out three bombings in southern Beirut was dismantled.

Speaking in a press conference, Mawlawi stated that the takfiri-terrorist group was recruiting young men to carry out operations and suicide attacks using explosive belts and grenades.

The Lebanese Interior Minister added that the terrorist group's operations could have resulted in heavy casualties.
