Iranian, Croatian FMs discuss COVID-19 outbreak over phone

TEHRAN, Mar. 17 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held a phone conversation with his Croatian counterpart Gordan Grlić-Radman Monday on the latest developments about the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Iran and world.

While expressing his solidarity with the Iranian government and people in the fight against coronavirus pandemic, Croatian foreign minister commiserated with the families of victims of the disease.

Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif thanked him and emphasized the need for non-observing US unilateral and illegal sanctions by the European Union not only as a JCPOA duty but also to prevent the death of innocent people caused by the US cruel sanctions imposed against Iran.
