Putin expresses Russia’s concern over situations in Idleb

BUENOS AIRES, Dec. 02 (MNA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his country’s concern over situations in Idleb, indicating that the Turkey doesn’t implement all of its commitments according to Sochi agreement on Idleb meanwhile the Russian bodies are working on implementing this agreement soonest possible.

During a press conference at the conclusion of the G-20 Summit in Buenos Aires, Putin said that Russia is a pioneer state in the domain of combating terrorism and those who stand against it are seeking showy stances.

With regard to forming a committee to discuss the current constitution in Syria, Putin noted that “forming this committee is a sensitive and very significant issue and it entails a lot of patience to be able to fulfill this job successfully.”

He indicated that no moves can be made without taking into consideration the approval of the Syrian Government regarding this process “which is complicated and have many axes, in addition to the agreements which had been reached during Istanbul Summit.”

President Putin underlined the importance of resuming the economic and trade relations and the cooperation in different domains between Russia and the US including the cooperation for finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria, expressing hope that the US side will be ready for that.
