‘US Navy can’t seem to find its way around our waters’

This tweet may be in response to a claim made by one of the defense officials of US who had told AFP that Iran has launched a naval exercise in the ‘Arabian Gulf’ on Thursday.

Zarif adds, “perhaps because it hasn’t figured out its name: Persian Gulf, as it's been called for 2,000 years longer than US has existed. Or maybe it doesn't know what it's doing in our backyard, 7,000 miles from home.”

He also posted an image demonstrating the distance between Miami in US and the Persian Gulf.
