In his message, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated the President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset, as well as the Swiss nation as they celebrated their National Day on August 1.
Rouhani expressed hope that Tehran-Bern’s friendly relations and bilateral cooperation would further develop based on mutual respect, within the framework of previously reached agreements and by relying on the ample capacities and potentials existing in the two countries.
The Iranian president also prayed for the Swiss nation’s felicity and prosperity.
Switzerland commemorates its National Day on 1st of August, in celebration of the founding of the Swiss Confederacy on this date in 1891.
