Turning to the gas supply and export in the first quarter of the current year, he said, “the volume of gas transmitted to power stations, gas injection to the oil tanks and also total gas export volume hit a considerable increase as compared to the same period of last year, NIGC manager observed.
He put total volume of gas exported in first quarter of the current year at 3.3 billion cubic meters, indicating nine percent hike as compared to the last year’s corresponding period.
The gas delivered to power stations in the same period hit 16.2 billion cubic meters, he said, adding, “gas volume delivered to power stations registered a considerable 4.7 percent hike as compared to the same period of last year.”
In the same period, gas extraction volume from natural resources hit 60,800,000,000 cubic meter, Jamshidi Dana emphasized.
The current statistics show that natural gas production volume showed 9.3 percent hike as compared to the same period of last year, he said, adding, “also, injection of sweet gas to oil tanks hit 3.7 billion cubic meters, showing a significant 2.7fold increase as compared to the same period of last year.”
