Famous French pianist arrives in Tehran

TEHRAN, Jun. 22 (MNA) – Renowned French Pianist Richard Clayderman landed in Iran for performing concert in the country.

He arrived in Tehran late on Thu. in order to stage his official performance in Iran in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and also Iranian Music Office.

He will hold his live concern in Amphitheater of the Interior Ministry from June 22 to 29.

Speaking in an interview with MNA correspondent, he said, “I have always made and performed music for the world peace and I am proud to present live piano in the presence of hospitable Iranian people for the first time.”

“I also have considered a special program for the enthusiast Iranian people,” he maintained.

This concert will go on stage in Tehran at the initiative taken by ROYAL HONAR Institute with Majid Abdi as its producer.

Richard Clayderman is a French pianist who has released numerous albums including the compositions of Paul de Senneville and Olivier Toussaint, instrumental renditions of popular music, rearrangements of movie soundtracks, ethnic music, and easy-listening arrangements of popular works of classical music.
