“Currently the path is clearly defined and the conditions are ok to get our economy back on track,” said Ali Larijani, the Speaker of Iranian Parliament.
The top lawmaker made the remarks on Wednesday in an address at Iranian embassy in Colombo.
“While it is true that merchants are required to do their business by their own but some government offices are required to help merchants to find a chance of presence in the international economy,” highlighted the Iranian top legislator.
“We have to be more active in exporting goods and technical and engineering services,” he said adding, “the grounds should be paved for exporting and the incentive should be created and ministries can play a bold role to meet these objectives.”
“If we make no progress in exporting, our economy will get into stalemate and that is why the current year’s annual budget of the country includes articles on motivating export,” he added.
