UWW Rep. to visit Iran

TEHRAN, Mar. 07 (MNA) – Daulet Turlykhanov, former Kazakh wrestler, will be present in 2017 Greco-Roman World Cup to represent the United World Wrestling (UWW).

Iran Wrestling Federation will organize the 2017 Free style world Cup to be held on March 16-17, 2017 in Abadan.

Accordingly, Daulet Turlykhanov, Bureau Member of the United World Wrestling and President of UWW’s Scientific Commission, will travel to Iran in order to supervise the wrestling extravaganza.

Also, Vice-President of UWW Refereeing Commission Kamel Bouaziz of Tunisia as well as Halil Ibrahim Cicioglu, a Turkish member of the Commission will take part in the event as refereeing instructors.

A total of eight top international teams are scheduled to take part in the grand sportive event in a bid to secure medals and diplomas.

The top three teams will receive prize money with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams winning $25,000, $15,000 and $10,000 dollars, respectively.
