Iranian parliamentary delegation in Syria for talks

TEHRAN, Jan. 04 (MNA) – The Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi flied for Syria on Tuesday evening.

Heading a parliamentary delegation, Boroujerdi left Tehran for Damascus on Tuesday to hold talks on parliamentary ties with Syrian counterparts.

Iranian MPs Ashouri Taziani, Ahmad Amir Abadi, Kamal Dehghani, Abolfazl Hassan Beigi and Rouhollah Hazratpour accompany Boroujerdi in the visit to Syria.

The delegation will meet with senior Syrian officials, including President Bashar al-Assad, Parliament Speaker Hadiya Khalaf Abbas, Prime Minister Imad Khamis and Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem.
