Stop abusing religious sanctities: Ghasemi

TEHRAN, Oct. 29 (MNA) – The Spokesperson of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Bahram Ghasemi, described Emirati FM’s claims of Yemenis attacking to Mecca as abuse of religious sanctities for petty political motives.

“The claim that Yemenis have attacked the holy city of Mecca is fundamentally ridiculous,” said Bahram Ghasemi, the Spokesperson of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, on Friday, after Emirati Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nayhan wrote on Twitter that, "The Iranian regime supports a terrorist group that launched its rockets on Mecca."

“We advise Saudi and Emirati officials to abandon taking advantage of holy religious locations for their petty political motives,” asserted the Iranian diplomat, “do not reach for hypocritical, divisive, and dangerous propaganda to make up for your defeats and failures.”

He maintained that ‘Yemenis are more faithful than Wahhabis and Sultanas who are relying on the US and the Zionist regime, instead of the Islamic nations, to preserve their kingdom and throne.’ “Yemenis are more respectful to the Two Holy Mosques than violators and children-murderers.”

Ghasemi reassured that ‘the ones who prioritize their murderous goals to the sanctity of the Kaaba would get more and more exposed among the Muslims.’
