Iran’s IT minister leaves Tehran for Russia on Tue.

TEHRAN, Jul. 26 (MNA) – Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi left Tehran for Moscow on Tuesday.

Heading an economic delegation, Vaezi is slated to attend Russian-Iranian joint trade and economic commission and meet with Russian counterpart and other officials.

He is scheduled to hold talks with Russia’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov and the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Trade Minister Veronika Nikishina to further improve mutual ties between the two countries.

The sides will discuss promotion and development of economic cooperation, facilitation of commercial exchanges between the two countries particularly through the activation of private sector.
