‘That Morning’ joins 3 other Iranian titles at Spanish filmfest.

TEHRAN, Jul. 20 (MNA) – Abbas Davoudi’s short film ‘That Morning’ which explores the theme of execution and forgiveness is joining three other Iranian titles at the 39th Elche International Independent Film Festival in Spain.

‘That Morning’ directed by Abbas Davoudi will be screened at the competition section of 39th Elche International Independent Film Festival, which is currently under way in Spain from 14-22 July.

‘That Morning’ narrates the life of a visually-impaired young man whose dearest friend is about to be executed. The film depicts the young man’s efforts in seeking forgiveness for his friend.

The 74-second film has been screened at various internaitoanl film festivals including Script 2015 India, Vibgyor 2015 India, Los Angeles Asian Pacific 2015 USA, Eastern Breeze 2015 Canada, Porto7 2015 Portugal, Detmold 2015 Germany, and Underground 2015 Ireland.

The other Iranian films competing in the Spanish film festival are Masoud Hatami’s short film StruggleLady with Flower Hair directed by Sarah Tabibzadeh and What’s the Difference Between Me and a Froglet? by Ehsan Nasri.
