Islamic states should follow unifying strategies

TEHRAN, Jun. 16 (MNA) – Iran’s speaker of parliament underlined that regional crises are benefiting Israeli regime and urged Islamic states to unite against the threats.

Ali Larijani who was speaking in an Iftar meeting with ambassadors of Muslim countries, noted the current situation in the region calling it painful for the Muslim nations.

“The regional issues are growing from inside and Islamic countries should notice who are benefiting from it; Zionists are among the ones who are mainly benefiting the tumult condition of the region,” warned Larijani.

He added “some extra-regional countries form coalitions to fight terrorism but the point is that where all these terrorists come from and what are the roots of the phenomenon.”

Larijani underlined that sectarianism fuels the crises in the region and paves the ground for enemies to reach their goals.

“Using terrorism as a tool is an strategic mistake; Islamic countries should follow a unifying strategy and avoid sectarian approaches,” reiterated Iran’s speaker of parliament.

Noting that Islamic Republic of Iran’s strategy is based on establishing Islamic unity and brotherhood, he emphasized, “Iran’s Parliament supports any effort that would result in unity among Muslims and victory of Palestinian nation.

“Iran’s Parliament is open to all Islamic countries; National Security and Foreign Affairs Commission and the International Affairs Department of the Parliament are ready cooperate with Islamic countries and their ambassadors to help settle the issues of the Islamic world and help the Palestinians.
