Speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom of top Hezbollah Commander Mustafa Badreddine on Tuesday, Iran's Defense Minister Brigadier General Dehghan underlined that what was happening now in Iraq and Syria was triggered by the United States and Zionist regime and it has been planned to bring war to the Islamic countries.
“Zionists support terrorists and equip them to confront Muslims,” stressed the official adding “what matters to them is the security of the Zionist regime.”
Brig. Gen. Dehghan went on to emphasize that Takfiri groups are by no means Muslims since their beliefs and behaviors are contrary to tenets of Islam and their approach is condemned.
Pointing to the bravery of Defenders of the Holy Shrines in Syria, the commander said “their martyrdom will encourage more young people to join the battle against Takfiri and terrorist groups.”
Martyrdom of the top Hezbollah commander Mustafa Badreddine who was killed in a terrorist attack near Damascus was marked and commemorated during a ceremony in Tehran on Tuesda.
