Rouhani submits Iran-Slovak investment bill to Parliament

TEHRAN, May. 01 (MNA) – Iran’s President Rouhani has presented to Parliament a bill of an agreement to promote and back joint investment by Iranian and Slovak administrations to follow legal procedures.

The presented bill would provide proper conditions for investments so as to escalate bilateral economic ties in line with interests of Iranian and Slovak governments.

On the basis of the bill, the deal to foster and support joint investment by the Iranian and Slovak governments, consisting a prelude and 24 articles, will be ratified and the permission for adjusting due document will be announced later.

Earlier in the year, Slovak Ambassador to Tehran Yan Buri had conferred with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on expansion of relations between the two countries.

The outgoing ambassador had said "Slovakia is willing to enhance level of mutual cooperation with Iran after implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)."
