Two Iranian shorts vie at SEAFF film festival

TEHRAN, Apr. 20 (MNA) – Two short films of Iranian directors Mehdi Aghajani and Masoud Hatami are among the competitors at the Stockholm Experimental and Animation Film Festival.

Mehdi Aghajani’s Fragile and Masoud Hatami’s Survival are scheduled to go on screen at the 1st edition of Stockholm Experimental and Animation Film Festival (SEAFF) which will be held on April 24 2016.

Based on a script written by Masoud Hatami himself, the short Survival is the production of Tehran branch of Iranian Youth Cinema Society (IYCS) and has three actors.

Sirous Gholipour, Parham Deldadeh, and Masoud Hatami are the cast of the work and it is cinematographed by Mohammad Haddadi.

Director and actor, Mehdi Aghajani, who is known for Insan (2012), in his last work tells the story of a boy and girl who are talking in an unknown place, but they have problems to communicate together.

Mehdi Shahpiri, Parastou Ghaed Rahmat, Maryam Farahzadi act in the latest work of Aghajani, Fragile (2015), which has been produced by Rightel TCS Company.
