Judo practitioners to attend Tbilisi Grand Prix

TEHRAN, Mar. 06 (MNA) – Iran men’s national judo team will depart for Georgia to take part at Tbilisi Grand Prix 2016.

The Tbilisi Grand Prix 2016 is taking place from 25-27 March as one of the last and the most important events before the Ryo Olympic Games.

Iran will deploy three judo practitioners to the tournament comprising of Javad Mahjoub, Saeid Molaei as well as Naser Naseri headed by Masoud Khosravinejad.

Competing in -60kg weight category, Naser Naseri hold the national championship title and will be able to put his abilities in the crucible by attending the Georgian Grand Prix.

The Iranian squad is preparing for the 2016 Individual & Team Asian Judo Championships to be held from 14th to 17th April 2016 at Sports Complex in Tashkent of Uzbekistan.
